The ExReps Calendar

The ExReps Calendar is provided as a feature, Guests may view the Calendar, registered members of the ExReps Community may view the Calendar, and may post their events on it.
Upcoming events are automatically added to the top page, in the community news area, as they approach i.
Your birthday is automatically added to the Calendar if you include your birth date in your profile, some of the geezers prefer to keep this as confidential information. Your mileage will vary, do what feels good.

Viewing the Calendar is pretty simple, just click on Calendar in the main menu area for the forums and the Calendar screen will pop up. If you want to change the month or the year that you are viewing just click on the navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen. If the event you are interested in has been linked to a post in the events board, clicking on the name of the event will take you to the post about the event.

As a registered member of the ExReps community you can add your own events to the Calendar and you can link them to a post in the Events board, If you are not already registered click here to find out how to register. To add an event, go to the bottom of the Calendar and click on Post Event. This will open a new window with an entry screen,

Fill in the Event name or title
Use the pull downs to put in the year month and date of the start of the event
If the event will last longer than a single day, enter the number of days that the event spans
If you want to post a note with more information about the event, click on the check box, and when you click on post you will be taken to a new entry screen to make your post. If you are not familiar with making a post click here for more information.
If you are posting a note about your event, select the Board to post it in the pull down, best to leave it in the events board
Click on Post to post your event

If you are a registered member and want your Birthday added to the Calendar, click on profile in the main menu at the top of the screen, then click on Forum Profile Information under modify profile, find the area for entering your birth date, and put it in. At the bottom of the page click on the Change button. Check the Calendar and you will find your entry
