For those who might remember: It is with deep sorrow that I
report the Passing of Jack Thatcher of our Philco-Ford and Ford Aerospace days
in Palo Alto.For the many who knew Jack, he passed away this past Sunday, June 15, 2003. I heard that he had been ill for several weeks. I have no details as to any arrangements as yet. Condolences may be set to Jack's family at:The Family of: Jack F. Thatcher Dear, brother of Warren Thatcher of Golden, CO and Wallace Thatcher of Gypsun, CO and predeceased by one brother and one sister; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A native of Colorado, age 82. A member and Past Master of Roller Masonic Lodge No. 346 of Palo Alto, York Rite. Past Commander of Sunnyvale V.F.W., Shriner's Sunnyvale Elks Lodge. Past President of Los Altos Real Estate Board and Chairman of Digital Clubhouse. Friends are invited to attend Memorial Services Saturday, June 28, 2003 at 2:30 pm at the Palo ALto-Roller Lodge, 461 Florence Street, Palo Alto. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Asiya Shriners, 1925 Elkhorn Ct., San Mateo, CA 94403-1308 in memory of John F. Thatcher. The Memorial Services For Jack Are Scheduled For 28Th June 2003 At 2:30 Pm At The Palo Alto Roller Lodge (Masonic) 461 Forrest Street. Palo Alto Ca 94403-13308. In Lieu Of Flowers Contributions May Be Made To Ashiya Shriners,1925 Elkhorn Court .San Mateo. Ca 94403-1308 In Memory Of John F. Thatcher. I have been a long time friend since 1955 to present. and have taken Jack to the Kaiser chemo-therapy ICU injection center on jun10,11,12, and 13th when i brought him home. Sorry to hear about Jack Thatcher. I knew him well and my wife and I got together with Jack and his wife at the Clark Field O Club several times. He was Philco Clark manager and I was Madigan Team Leader. |
